Responsibilities:
- To lead a team of social workers and AAS practitioners to effectively manage the development and expansion of the service to serve the beneficiaries.
- Manage and oversee the delivery of programme to achieve the desired outcomes and outputs.
- Lead the development of risk management strategies and maintain compliance with animal welfare guidelines.
- Plan and conduct outreach, intervention programmes, and sharing.
- Provide supervision to the social workers, AAS practitioners and volunteers.
- Liaise and network with partners to strengthen relationships and collaboration.
- Collaborate and adopt strategies together with stakeholders to influence systemic changes.
- Lead and conduct service evaluation to assess and enhance service effectiveness
- Ensure timely documentation and accurate data management to support the service delivery.
- Provide counselling and case management for Hidden Youths and their families
- Organisational duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of a Degree in Social Work.
- Possess a post-graduate studies in Animal Assisted Interventions is preferred.
- Relevant experience in working with youths and/or animals is preferred.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for working with youths and their families,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with youths, families, and stakeholders.
- A team player with excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- Demonstrates resourcefulness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying situations.
- Exhibits personal effectiveness, independence, and strong time management skills.
