Brief Summary
We are seeking a committed individual with extensive experience to lead and evaluate group work and casework interventions. The role also involves the development and implementation of community initiatives to drive positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct group work sessions and formulate intervention plans. Supervise the facilitation of group work interventions, ensuring effectiveness. Evaluate the progress and outcomes of group work interventions across the organisation. Conduct casework for clients and families, including comprehensive needs and intake assessments for complex cases. Implement and evaluate case and care plans, formulating intervention plans as necessary. Close cases upon achieving sustainable service outcomes for clients, families, and communities. Develop community initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness in alignment with organisational goals. Mobilise community resources and conduct environmental scans and needs assessments. Build professional relationships with clients, families, and relevant stakeholders. Support staff in their self-care plans and professional development. Organise crisis management teams and supervise staff in their roles. Design and conduct research on practice issues with guidance. Review models of care and service delivery, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices. Conduct audits in compliance with organisational frameworks and lead the development of programmes to address service delivery needs.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work or a Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field. Accreditation as a Registered Social Worker with a recognised association is an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility and creativity in addressing challenges. A committed attitude and strong report writing skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
