Job Description

Leads the strategic development, execution, and optimization of the organization's social media presence across all platforms. This role drives brand visibility, audience growth, engagement, and campaign performance while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The manager oversees content strategy, paid social campaigns, analytics, community management, and cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, creative, PR, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and own the organization's social media strategy across all major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X).

  • Lead and mentor a team of social media executives, content creators, and community managers.

  • Oversee social media budgets, paid media planning, and performance optimization.

2. Content Development & Creative Direction

  • Drive the creation of high‑impact, platform‑native content, including videos, reels, stories, graphics, and long‑form posts.

  • Ensure brand voice, messaging, and visual identity are consistent across all channels.

  • Collaborate with creative, design, and production teams to deliver compelling campaigns.

  • Approve content calendars, scripts, captions, and creative concepts.

3. Social Media Operations & Community Management

  • Oversee daily publishing, scheduling, and real‑time engagement.

  • Manage community interactions, escalations, and sentiment monitoring.

  • Implement social listening tools to track trends, competitor activity, and brand mentions.

  • Ensure timely responses aligned with brand tone and customer‑care standards.

4. Paid Social & Performance Marketing

  • Plan and execute paid social campaigns to drive conversions, leads, and brand awareness.

  • Work closely with performance marketing teams to optimize targeting, bidding, and creative.

  • Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.

5. Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Track and analyze performance metrics across all platforms.

  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with insights and recommendations.

  • Use data to refine strategy, content direction, and audience segmentation.

  • Stay updated on algorithm changes, emerging platforms, and best practices.

6. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with PR, brand, product, and customer experience teams to ensure cohesive messaging.

  • Supports integrated marketing campaigns, launches, and events.

  • Manage influencer partnerships and creator collaborations.
