Job Description

About the Role:Our Client is seeking aSenior Social Media Associateto join theteam for a6-month contract. This role is focused onprotecting and shaping our client's brandthrough real-time social media monitoring, response, and issue management.

You will play a critical role in identifying reputational risks, managing crises, supporting campaigns, and crafting effective response strategies across multiple social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor emerging issues and sentiment across various social media platforms
  • Respond rapidly to high-risk or sensitive issues while maintaining brand tone and integrity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Policy, Trust & Safety, Community Support, and Corporate Communications
  • Draft and publish reactive and proactive content across the official social channels
  • Support the development of response strategies, playbooks, and best practices
  • Assist in measuring effectiveness of social campaigns and issues response workflows
  • Provide local support for APAC markets on reputational issues and brand protection
  • Identify process gaps and escalate issues around queue volumes or workflow inefficiencies
  • Assist with onboarding and knowledge transfer for new team members
  • Provide backup support for team leads as needed

Requirements:

  • 35 years of experience in social media management, issues/crisis response, or digital communications
  • Proven experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Familiarity with social media monitoring toolsand content publishing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay composed during high-pressure situations
  • Experience managing sensitive or high-risk social conversations is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to workSunday to ThursdayorTuesday to Saturday, with shift flexibility
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
