Job Description:
The Site Manager shall be responsible for the overall management and supervision of site operations. The role focuses on ensuring works are carried out safely, in compliance with regulatory requirements, and in accordance with project quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and coordinate construction activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety, statutory regulations, and project safety requirements.
- Manage overall site arrangement, logistics, and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Implement and enforce Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QAQC) procedures and inspection regimes.
- Review and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure timely rectification of non-conformances.
- Coordinate with consultants and project stakeholders on technical and quality matters.
- Maintain proper documentation for inspections, testing records, and quality submissions.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Ensure sites comply with regulatory, authority, and project quality requirements.
- Coordinate QAQC inspections, documentation, and submissions for projects where required.
- Liaise with HDB teams, including the CAD Team, BIT Team, and other relevant departments, on technical clarifications, inspections, and compliance matters.
- Assist in resolving quality issues and coordinating rectification works.
- Provide guidance to site teams and champion quality standards, inspection execution (CAD team, WWTT, BIT, CFT, SPA, Lock-up, CONQUAS) requirements, and compliance procedures
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to solve site problems.
- Have 1 Full cycle of project for HDB BTOs / Private residential project.
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering OR 10 years of relevant experience.
- Possess good interpersonal skill, problem solving skills, good knowledge of construction methods and process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project.
