SENIOR SITE ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Accountabilities

• To assist the Project Manager in site supervision works
• To co-ordinate sub-contract works. Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies
• Manage and ensure timely completion of construction/civils works
• Plan and prepare programme and lead the Civils Team
• Control and maintain the safe and smooth progress of civils work
• Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
• Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
• Responsible for all aspects of site safety

PRE-REQUISITES:

• MUST have a recognized Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma in C.E / Structural / Building
• 5+ years experience working on Infrastructure projects for a contractor.
• Possess Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course or similar certification
• Project experience within: Highways, Cycling Paths, Railway, Road Construction & Maintenance work, Bridges, Drainage, Earthwork and Soil Improvement works would be ideal.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Excellent project skills
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
