Job Summary
Support and supervise installation and project works for MRT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with drawings, safety policies, and project schedules while coordinating with engineering and consultants.
Responsibilities
- Prepare inspection request forms to verify installation compliance with project drawings
- Supervise and monitor installation activities to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Oversee general project works to maintain progress and standards
- Create red mark drawings reflecting site modifications and report for As-Built drawing submissions
- Prepare shop drawings, coordinate consultant feedback, and manage re-submissions
- Monitor material delivery schedules to align with project timelines and control costs
- Arrange work activities according to project programs to optimize resource use
- Commission project equipment and conduct risk assessments following QEHS policies and procedures
- Facilitate site testing, safety meetings, and site coordination meetings to ensure project safety and communication
- Maintain awareness of legal requirements, environmental impacts, and occupational safety and health risks related to work activities
- Demonstrate ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage tight schedules
- Be ready to commence work on short notice
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on LTA projects
- Degree in Civil Engineering
