He/She will play a key leadership role in managing service delivery. The role combines technical delivery leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management , vendors, and internal engineering teams.
The successful candidate will ensure the system's stability, scalability, and continuous improvement, while leading a multi-disciplinary team and working closely with solution vendors such as Intersystems (IRIS platform) to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery Management
- Provide advice to assist teams to establish and manage SLAs, incident management, and service improvement initiatives.
- Provide advice to assist teams to implement operational governance and quality assurance processes for production systems.
- Provide advice to assist teams to set up support teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and root causes are addressed.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects, from design and development to deployment and transition to operations.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Work closely with system integrators, and vendors like Intersystems (IRIS) technical experts to ensure solution alignment with national standards.
- Drive integration of data systems and interoperability frameworks in compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of software engineers, application specialists, and analysts.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Guide the team in adopting best practices in DevOps, agile delivery, and system reliability engineering (SRE).
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Engage regularly with IT partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships with key partners such as Intersystems, ensuring contract compliance and alignment with service quality expectations.
- Support technical reviews, change management, and solution design validation in partnership with external solution providers.
- Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the long-term roadmap for IT modernization and digital transformation.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and AI-driven insights.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance standards set by relevant authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a delivery or operations leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile, ITIL, or DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to operate effectively in high-stakes, regulated environments.
