Oversee the overall well-being of the equipment section, encompassing team morale, KPI performance, and long-term success.
Set clear expectations on compliance with MRB, TECN, 8D, and specification requirements.
Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure action items are identified and tracked to closure.
Drive effective utilization of SPC, FMEA, and Quality Management Systems for timely issue detection and continuous improvement.
Establish and sustain continuous improvement programs to prevent quality, line yield, and sort yield excursions.
Maintain a project monitoring system to track progress and performance against fab requirements.
Set section targets and goals to minimize wafer scrap, defects, and rework, while improving process capability to meet operational needs.
Forecast and manage equipment repair and maintenance (R&M) budget; drive cost reduction initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Process and Manufacturing Section Managers to resolve equipment constraints, optimize OEE, and align metrology sampling with quality and manufacturing requirements.
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements; support EHS management system improvements and uphold good housekeeping practices.
Implement a spare parts inventory system with usage forecasting; ensure team discipline in maintaining inventory and housekeeping standards.
Define clear roles and responsibilities; set and regularly review employee performance expectations; support career development and empowerment within the team.
Ensure all employees possess the necessary training, knowledge, and competency to perform their roles effectively.
Establish a performance reporting structure that enables employees to document and share project learnings in the knowledge database for future reference and training.
Job Requirements:
Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering discipline
8 years of relevant working experience in Diffusion Implantation Equipment - Semiconductor Industry
Min 5 years of proven track record in a managerial role with strong leadership capabilities.
Highly driven, motivated and resourceful .
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills .
Proficient in MS Office and good data analytical skill .
