My client is a growing life sciences company focused on advancing drug discovery through innovative chemistry and biotechnology approaches. They are currently hiring a Senior Scientist to lead research efforts in their new lab.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screening to identify hit peptides from internal compound libraries.
- Optimize hit peptides to develop viable lead candidates.
- Support the development of new peptide screening methodologies.
- Lead and manage drug discovery projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet research milestones.
Requirements
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Biology
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong expertise Synthetic organic chemistry / Peptide or nucleic acid chemistry / Medicinal chemistry / Chemical biology
- Proven track record through projects, presentations, or publications.
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
