Senior Scientist, Aural & Language Intelligence, I2R

Job Description:
The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research and development in multimodal, multilingual large language models. This role involves implementing advanced deep learning algorithms, exploring innovative techniques to improve training and inference efficiency, and proposing novel architectures for next-generation multimodal foundation models.

The candidate will also help translate research breakthroughs into real-world applications, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team on problem analysis, solution design, and rigorous evaluation. They will be expected to drive experiments that achieve state-of-the-art performance across diverse benchmarks.

We are seeking individuals with strong problem-solving abilities, solid software engineering and coding skills, and excellent communication skills. A passion for research and a desire to push the boundaries of AI technology are essential.

Job Requirement:

- PhD in ML, NLP, speech and spoken language processing and multi-modal AI
- Proficient programming skills, familiarity with Linux is a must
- Familiar with different deep learning and LLM training frameworks
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to replicate and reproduce state-of-the-art models and results, and then innovate on top of these benchmarks
