Job Description

The Perse School (Singapore) is a new international school committed to delivering an outstanding British education in a vibrant and supportive community. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior School Assistant Head Academic to join our leadership team. This role will play a key part in shaping the academic vision, supporting teaching excellence, and ensuring high standards across our Senior school curriculum based on the British International system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the academic programme for the Senior School, ensuring alignment with UK International curriculum standards.
  • Lead and oversee teaching and learning in the Senior School.
  • Support teachers in curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and professional development.
  • Monitor student progress and implement interventions to promote academic success.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic initiatives that enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement among staff and students.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution advanced qualifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an academic leadership or similar role within secondary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum, with the Cambridge International Framework an advantage at Key Stages 3 & IGCSEs and A-levels.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities.
