We are looking for an experienced SAP Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact SAP projects, ensuring they meet business objectives while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex SAP implementation, migration, and enhancement projects, including S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, or other SAP solutions.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and control project progress, resolving any deviations from the plan, and ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
Stakeholder and Team Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, technical teams, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution.
- Build and lead high-performing project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a focus on quality.
Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate), and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project reviews, ensuring continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial tracking and reporting are accurate and transparent.
- Optimize resource allocation across projects, balancing workloads and timelines effectively.
- Negotiate with vendors or third-party partners to secure favorable terms for project support.
Change and Communication Management:
- Oversee organizational change management (OCM) efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new SAP systems.
- Develop and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Provide end-user training and support plans as part of project delivery.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing SAP projects, including at least 5 years in a senior project management role.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale SAP projects, including S/4HANA or SAP Cloud solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, SuccessFactors, or others).
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Experience in project governance, reporting, and risk management practices.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications.
- SAP certifications in relevant modules or technologies.
