We are representing our client, a reputable European IT consultancy firm, in their search for a Senior / SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to augment an existing project team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP PM implementations and enhancements across the full project lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate them into effective solution designs and technical specifications.
- To configure, support, and optimise SAP PM functionalities, including Equipment Master, Functional Locations, Maintenance Plans, Work Orders, Notifications, Task Lists, and measuring points.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and application support, ensuring system stability and performance throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Drive integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM, FI/CO) and ensure seamless data flow across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Maintain system governance by managing user access, documentation, and testing standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Facilitate workshops, conduct user training, gather requirements, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and translate business needs into system solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects effectively while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- SAP certifications or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Strong functional expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and its integration with other SAP modules.
- Solid understanding of maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of core PM components (Equipment, Functional Locations, Maintenance Notifications, Work Orders, TaskLists, and Maintenance Plans) and their underlying data structures and tables.
- Proven experience in integrating SAP PM with modules such as MM, QM, PP, FI/CO.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is highly recommended.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP PM functional implementation and/or support experience, with at least 3 full-cycle(end-to-end) implementations.
Senior PM Consultants: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting or vendor environment, with at least 5 full-cycle implementations.
- Exposure to regional or global template roll-outs is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regionally and globally for project implementations and rollouts.
