Role Summary
We're seeking a Senior SAP Consultant with deep hands-on expertise across SAP PM, SAP MM, and ABAP (S/4HANA) to lead solution design, implementation, and cross functional integration for mission critical programs (e.g., defense ship maintenance and large hospital IS H deployments). The role blends technical delivery with stakeholder management, UAT/go live leadership, and end to end project ownership.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Build: Architect and develop SAP solutions in S/4HANA (ABAP, OData/UI5) with integrations across PM and MM; deliver robust RICEF objects and workflows.
- Plant Maintenance (PM): Configure and implement preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance strategies; manage notifications, work orders, testing, and data migration (LSMW).
- Materials Management (MM): Integrate PM with MM procurement/inventory processes; optimize touchpoints for operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Healthcare (IS H): Support/implement healthcare processes (patient management, reporting, crystal reports migration) where applicable.
- Interfaces & Edge/IoT: Design/manage ALE/IDoc, RFC, flat files; contribute to SAP Edge Computing/Mobilink setups.
- Quality & Cutover: Lead UAT, defect triage, and go live activities; serve as Cutover Manager when needed to ensure seamless transitions.
- Project & Stakeholders: Plan sprints, manage risks/budgets/resources, coordinate clusters, and maintain clear stakeholder communications (Agile/Scrum/Kanban).
- Support & Operations: Provide incident/problem/release management (ServiceNow/Jira/ChaRM); performance tuning, debugging, and steady state support.
Requirements
- Experience: 10–11 years in SAP with strong track record across PM/MM/ABAP, including S/4HANA delivery and multi module integration.
- Technical: ABAP (Data Dictionary, RICEF, BAPI/BADI), OData/UI5, Workflow, ALV, Ad hoc Query, LSMW, SQL; interface design (ALE/IDoc, RFC, flat files).
- Domain: Proven delivery in Defense (ship maintenance) and Healthcare (IS H, patient management, crystal reports) contexts.
- Tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Charm, Code Inspector, Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace.
- Methodologies: Agile/Scrum/Kanban; strong change/incident/release management.
- Soft Skills: Leadership (team lead/cutover manager), stakeholder engagement, effective communication, documentation/reporting.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
