Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support implementation, configuration, and enhancement of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable financial processes, ensure compliance, and provide end-to-end support across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.

• Configure and customize core Finance modules including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Asset Accounting (AA)

  • Bank Accounting

• Configure Controlling modules such as:

  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

  • Internal Orders

  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Manage financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance requirements.

• Work on integration points between SAP FICO and other modules:

  • SAP MM (Procure-to-Pay)

  • SAP SD (Order-to-Cash)

  • SAP PP (Production Accounting)

• Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and coordinate with technical teams for developments.

• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.

• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure SAP best practices, governance, and documentation standards are followed.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and controlling processes.

• Expertise in SAP configuration for GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, and CO components.

• Experience with SAP integration across logistics and finance modules.

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Financial postings and document flow

  • Taxation and regulatory compliance

  • Cost allocations and settlements

• Knowledge of SAP reporting tools and financial statements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications in Finance.

• Basic debugging/ABAP knowledge for functional support.

• Familiarity with Agile/Activate methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.

• Relevant SAP certification in FICO is a plus.
