Job Description SAP EAM Lead (S/4HANA)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Lead to drive design, implementation, and deployment of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and related EAM solutions in a large, multi-country S/4HANA program. The ideal candidate must have strong functional leadership, hands-on configuration expertise, and experience leading workshops, managing stakeholders, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

Lead end-to-end design and implementation of SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) processes.

Drive business workshops, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.

Provide direction and oversight for:

Maintenance Planning

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance

Work Order Management

Maintenance Task Lists & BOMs

Notifications & Measurement Documents

Warranty & Service Management

Refurbishment & Spare Parts Management

Calibration and Meter Reading Processes

Ensure best practices and alignment with global EAM standards across plants.

S/4HANA & Integration Responsibilities

Configure and support S/4HANA EAM functionalities, including:

Fiori apps for EAM

Maintenance scheduling with MRS/Resource Scheduling

Integration with MM, QM, PP, FI/CO, and EHS modules

Work with technical teams for RICEFW design:

Enhancements

Workflows

Interfaces (CPI/PI/PO/BTP)

Forms & Reports

Support data migration for EAM: equipment, functional locations, task lists, BOMs, cycles.

Project Delivery

Lead functional team members and coordinate with global/local business users.

Prepare functional specs, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.

Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and cut-over planning.

Drive change management, end-user enablement, and adoption.

Provide post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

1015+ years of SAP EAM / PM experience.

Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA EAM, including Fiori and new maintenance planning capabilities.

Experience as a Module Lead / Team Lead in at least 2 full-cycle implementations.

In-depth understanding of asset lifecycle management and maintenance operations.

Good integration knowledge with MM, PP, QM, FI, and EHS.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-country environment.
