Installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems on various platforms (like Linux, Windows)
Managing user accounts, authorizations, and security protocols
Performing system backups and recoveries
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting any issues
SAP Basis Operations:
Applying SAP patches and updates
Implementing system transports (moving configuration changes between systems)Managing system landscapes (including development, testing, and production environments)
Automating administrative tasks using scripts
Database Management:
Administering the SAP database (often using Oracle or DB2)
Performing database backups, recoveries, and performance optimization
Security:
Implementing and maintaining SAP security measures
Auditing user activity and access controls
Project Work:
Participating in SAP implementation projects
Supporting other IT teams (development, functional) with SAP Basis related tasks
PROFILE
Minimum Bachelors Degree with a major in IT/Computer Science/ Engineering
Minimum of 6 - 7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with S/4HANA
Strong understanding of SAP Basis concepts and functionalities
Experience with SAP operating systems and databases
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Certifications: SAP Basis certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Professional - SAP Basis)
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting)
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
