Role Purpose
An exciting and integral role at Scott Dunn, the Sales Team Manager is responsible for leading the sales and service performance of the Asia sales team to exceed revenue, GP and service targets.
The role demands a highly motivated and commercially driven leader, capable of leading from the front - maintaining strong individual sales performance whilst coaching and developing a high-performing team of Travel Consultants.
A successful Sales Team Manager will create a strong team culture built on pace, accountability and excellence, leveraging the values of Scott Dunn - optimism, tenacity, resilience and exceptional service. They will be analytically strong, using data and insight to shape strategy, prioritise opportunities and drive performance.
They will take full ownership of team trading performance, acting as the key link between regional strategy and sales execution. This role operates as a commercial leader within the Asia business - identifying opportunities, managing risk, and driving actions at pace to deliver against budget.
They must also demonstrate an industry-leading service culture, ensuring the Scott Dunn guest is at the centre of every interaction, whilst supporting the growth of repeat and SDP (Scott Dunn Private) relationships in the region.
Responsibilities
.
Own delivery of team revenue, GP and conversion targets, with clear accountability for performance against budget and prior year
.
Drive weekly and monthly trading cadence, including pipeline management, forecast accuracy and proactive gap-closing actions
.
Instill a culture of pace, urgency and accountability, ensuring enquiries are progressed quickly and decisions are actively driven
.
Lead from the front with strong personal sales and service performance, setting the benchmark for the team
.
Coach, mentor and develop Travel Consultants to improve conversion, commercial performance and service standards
.
Build a high-performance team culture based on optimism, resilience, accountability and continuous improvement
.
Oversee the full lifecycle of bookings from initial enquiry through to travel and repeat booking, ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout
.
Manage guest feedback and service recovery, using insights to improve performance and drive loyalty
.
Lead execution of the repeat guest strategy, increasing retention and lifetime value
.
Actively manage performance using data and insight, identifying gaps and driving immediate actions to improve results
.
Partner with Product and Marketing teams to prioritise high-value opportunities, optimise margin and support commercial decision-making
.
Align team activity with regional priorities, including SDP growth, key partnerships and focus destinations
.
Manage team capacity and resourcing, including leave planning and peak trading periods, to ensure demand is effectively serviced
.
Lead performance management including regular 1:1s, coaching, training and formal reviews
.
Handle escalated guest issues pre, during and post travel, ensuring swift and effective resolution
.
Support out-of-hours escalation where required to maintain service continuity
.
Contribute to product development through feedback and collaboration with Product teams
.
Identify and develop future leaders within the team, strengthening the Asia leadership bench

Oversee team performance and drive delivery against all sales and service KPIs

Maintain strong individual sales performance through best-in-class guest management
.
Continuously improve sales processes to optimise conversion and enhance guest experience
.
Actively manage performance against sales, GP and conversion targets, using data to identify gaps and drive immediate action
.
Manage team capacity, including leave planning and peak trading periods, to support demand Lead performance management, including training, coaching, and quarterly reviews
.
Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1s, embedding a strong coaching culture
.
Ensure effective management of bookings, documentation, and payments
.
Handle escalated guest issues pre, during and post travel
.
Support out-of-hours escalation where required
.
Contribute to product development and feedback loops with Product teams
.

Requirements
.
Proven track record in luxury travel sales with strong commercial performance
.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
.
Strong ownership mindset with accountability for delivering revenue and GP targets
.
Highly numerate and comfortable using data to drive decisions and performance
.
Ability to operate at pace, prioritise effectively and make sound commercial decisions
.
Experience working with high-value clients and delivering exceptional service
.
Strong stakeholder management across sales, product and regional leadership

We aim to find someone who would be office based in our Singapore Office.
