The Senior Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the Customer Service, Consignment Management and Commercial Support function for the APAC region. The role will work closely with cross functional stakeholders within and outside the sales organization. He/She must be experienced in consignment business models, strong in business processes and have a sense of commercial acumen. The person with leadership management and SAP (SD module) experience will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of customer service team for the order to cash process - Pricing management, Order management, Delivery and billing management
- Work with Sales & Marketing on Sales Forecast to facilitate demand planning process for upstream supply chain
- Secure supply with Supply Chain team to fulfill customer orders and to provide uninterrupted flow of products to both direct and indirect markets
- Work with Marketing for purchase of trading products for APAC region to support trading sales
- Ensures that inventory control processes are in place and consistent with the inventory turn target
- Participate Sales and Operations Planning Meeting to review forecast accuracy and provide feedback on supply constraints
- Maintains the standard operating procedures for Sales Operations APAC
- Generate regular sales reports for management review or ad hoc analysis
- Actively review with Supply Chain team on BIT and consignment warehouses on safety stock levels as well as reordering points
- Manage relationships with service providers to achieve reasonable service levels
- Super user for SAP SD Module
- Work with key stakeholders on cross functional or ad-hoc projects (e.g. Work with Sales & Marketing team on product phase in/ phase out plan, etc.)
- Other related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management
- Good analytical skills to think objectively, interpret, and present meaningful trend observations from quantitative data
- Problem solving skills; to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
- System and tools acumen; ability to use advance excel, SAP systems & other reporting tools
- Result oriented
- Team player and proactive in team discussion
- Leadership role with a diverse group will be an added advantage
