This position is accountable for the profitability enhancement, sales acquisition, client retention, and growth of the corporate sales portfolio. Executes the strategic sales plan to ensure realization of goals in a timely, professional and profitable manner.
- Meet and exceed the Room Revenue goals established for the account portfolio through a strategic and aggressive sales solicitation of rooms and meetings business from the Corporate market.
- Within the context of the sales territory allocation, develop an appropriate Sales Plan to accomplish the established goals and objectives.
- Undertake a systematic and planned schedule of sales calls to qualify the corporate account prospects and leads in the assigned territory or industry.
- Develop a profile for each qualified account, and categorize these according to their estimated volume of business potential for the Hotel.
- Develop a hit-list of volume and preferred accounts and commence the appropriate course of sales action, from the point when the Requests For Proposals (RFPs) are issued to its submission.
- Follow through with these RFPs to ensure the Hotel is listed in the corporate hotel directories and travel programs, and the rates loaded in the GDS.
- Negotiate and prepare corporate agreements for the other preferred and corporate accounts.
- Establish and maintain contact and communication with The Fullerton Singapore's Regional and Representative offices, where available, for information and leads on prospective clients.
- Further market penetration through segmentation of accounts.
- Operate within budget.
- Submit reports within pre-determined time frame.
- Networks within the existing client base to attain additional revenue.
- Maintains processes to ensure aged receivables remain at zero balance.
- Performs any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
