Senior Sales Manager (Logistics)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating operative revenue and gross profit for the company.

b. Achieve sales revenue and gross profit target and manage customer prospect on monthly basis.

c. Acute sense of hunting and developing new sales opportunities.

d. Resourceful in providing full suite of solutions to customers.

e. To prepare quotation, SOP and operations T&C, and get approval from Management team before submitting to customer.

f. Work closely with operations team and customer service(including necessary documentation work) to expedite job completion as outlaid in contracts.

g. To liaise with operations team for improvement work/alternative solution in response to any operational issue to existing customer.

h. Monitor payment progress of each account to ensure good AR record.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Preferably with 10 years sales experience in Logistics (Ocean/Air) and/or Freight Forwarding (especially Air cargo)

2. Possess excellent communication skills in order to convey distribution services information clearly to both potential and existing customers.

3. Ability to understand customers expectations and make value proposition to customers.

4. Diploma/Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.

5. Good proficiency in MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint and Word) is needed in order to make proposal for target client.

6. Good in sales pitch and negotiation skills for new business.

7. Excellent Customer Service and team player

8. Preferably with sales experience with Japanese companies.

9. English is a must. (Preferably Japanese speaking skills)

10. Can bring current accounts
