Expand and accelerate the IHI compressor business in Southeast Asia, in alignment with the company's regional profit and growth plans.
Develop and implement business strategies for the IHI compressor business in Southeast Asia, working closely with regional and local teams.
Manage and strengthen sales and service channels in Southeast Asia, including building and maintaining relationships with end users, local distributors, and agents.
Identify and develop new business opportunities for IHI compressors, particularly in key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
Support the development and execution of business strategies for air audit and carbon solution businesses, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Required competencies and certifications
Proficiency in Japanese to enable effective communication with Japanese headquarters and stakeholders, including document review and meeting participation.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant sales or business development experience, preferably in industrial or engineering-related sectors.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven track record working with regional or overseas markets, ideally within Southeast Asia.
Background in industrial equipment, compressors, or rotating machinery will be an advantage.
Exposure to energy efficiency, air audit, or sustainability-related solutions is an advantage.
Strong ability to develop and execute business and sales strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, with experience engaging end users, distributors, and agents.
