Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Senior / Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth for the data center business across the assigned territory. The role focuses on identifying and acquiring new logos, building strategic partnerships, and expanding overall market presence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong market awareness, a consultative selling approach, and the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels including customers, design consultants, contractors, and end-users.

This position requires agility, strategic thinking, and proactive collaboration with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and effectively communicate the company's value proposition.

New Business Acquisition & Partnership Development

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across connectivity and GPU-as-a-Service solutions within the data center sector. Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships to broaden market reach and accelerate growth. Establish high-wide-deep relationships with key stakeholders in new accounts including C-suite executives, consultants, and contractors to drive engagement, influence decision-making, and secure long-term business.

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to build and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified leads. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to effectively position solutions and drive opportunities through the full sales cycle to closure. Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting in alignment with company objectives and performance targets.

Customer Engagement & Value Delivery

  • Conduct regular business reviews and on-site engagements to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and deliver tailored, outcome-driven solutions. Support customers sustainability objectives and strategic business drivers through targeted improvement initiatives. Document, quantify, and communicate the value delivered to reinforce customer satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.

Market Intelligence & Innovation Support

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to anticipate shifts and identify new opportunities. Provide structured feedback to products and marketing teams to support continuous innovation and product development. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen market presence, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience/ business development related skillsets, preferably within the data center or telecommunication industry.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with customers across all levels.
  • Strong experience in networking with senior internal and external people in the specialist area of expertise.
  • Experience in managing the entire sales process, contracting process, and legal implications of a deal.
  • Experience in Managed Services across domains such as Networking, Collaboration, Data Centers, Security and so on.
  • Customer value management and understanding profitability and ratios of customers.
  • Experience in selling products/services or have customer fronting experience in different roles, i.e., project manager.
  • Experience selling products or services to the data center colocation market or selling colocation services to the Government and Private sector.
