Job Summary:
A sales-focused role supporting revenue growth through client relationship management, technical solutions selling, and new business development within the chemicals and polymers sector.
Responsibilities:
- Execute sales strategies and contribute to achieving assigned revenue and growth targets.
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and account development.
- Conduct technical discussions and deliver product presentations to client stakeholders, including procurement and R&D teams.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, technical, and finance to ensure timely delivery, service support, and prompt payment collection.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, and provide insights to management.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales experience within the plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industry.
- Polytechnic diploma or bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
- Experience working with Japanese MNCs or suppliers in the plastics industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and industry-related events.
