Key Responsibilities include
- Support in executing sales directions and achieving revenue targets.
- Manage and grow relationships with assigned clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead generations.
- Conduct technical discussions and product presentations with clients, including procurement and R&D teams.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in line with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, technical, finance) to ensure timely delivery, service and prompt payment collection.
- Monitor market trends, activities, and customer feedback to share with management.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.
Requirements:
- Polytechnic diploma or bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in the plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Other Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working with Japanese MNCs or suppliers in the plastics industry.
- Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
