Manufacturing(Chemicals/Materials), Trading Firm
Our client is a Japanese company specializing in the distribution of plastic resins, electronics, and chemical products. They are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive (Chemical/Plastics) to join their Chemical Sales team.
Reporting to: Deputy General Manager
Farming 50%, Hunting 50%
【Responsibilities】
- Support in executing sales directions and achieving revenue targets.
- Manage and grow relationships with assigned clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead generations.
- Conduct technical discussions and product presentations with clients, including procurement and R&D teams.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in line with company policies. Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, technical, finance) to ensure timely delivery, service, and prompt payment collection.
- Monitor market trends, activities, and customer feedback to share with management.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.
【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Diploma in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry
- 3-5 years of regional sales experience within plastics/chemicals manufacturing/suppliers in the plastics industry
- Strong understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Excellent communication in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking counterparts
- Willing to travel within Asia for business trips, when required
- Able to join within 1 month or on short notice
(Advantageous)
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license & own car will be an advantage (Car allowance will be provided)
- Experience working in Japanese MNCs
- Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers
