As part of our Southeast Asia expansion, we are looking for an experienced and customer-facing Senior Sales Engineer based in Singapore to support enterprise customers, channel partners, and regional technical engagements across ASEAN.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Engineer with strong cybersecurity presales expertise and customer engagement capabilities. This is a senior regional technical role focused on solution consulting, technical sales support, architecture advisory, PoC leadership, and partner enablement for enterprise and government customers.
The ideal candidate should possess deep hands-on cybersecurity knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage confidently with CISOs, security architects, and enterprise IT teams.
This role will work closely with regional sales teams, channel partners, product management, and HQ technical teams to drive technical success throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities1. Regional Presales & Technical Leadership
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers, partners, and regional sales teams.
• Lead technical engagements for AIStorm cybersecurity solutions including Endpoint Security / EDR / XDR, NDR, CWPP, Email Security, and AI-driven Security Operations.
• Conduct executive technical presentations, product demonstrations, technical workshops, architecture discussions, and PoC deployments.
• Design and recommend security architectures aligned with customer environments and business requirements.
2. Enterprise Opportunity Support
• Partner closely with sales teams to support strategic enterprise opportunities across Singapore and ASEAN.
• Support technical qualification, solution positioning, RFP/RFQ responses, and competitive positioning.
• Act as the technical lead during customer engagements with CISOs, CIOs, and enterprise architects.
3. Partner & Channel Technical Enablement
• Support technical enablement for channel partners, MSSPs, system integrators, and technology alliance partners.
• Deliver technical training sessions, workshops, joint customer demonstrations, and joint PoCs.
4. Customer Success & Solution Adoption
• Work closely with Product, R&D, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful onboarding and deployment experiences.
• Assist customers with deployment guidance, tuning, integrations, and best practices.
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence for product improvements.
5. Market Intelligence & Industry Representation
• Stay current with cybersecurity threats, compliance requirements, and competitive technologies.
• Represent AIStorm at industry conferences, seminars, webinars, and customer workshops.
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience & Background
• 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity presales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise or government customers in Singapore or ASEAN markets.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
Technical Expertise
• Strong understanding of EDR / XDR, NDR, SIEM / SOAR, CWPP / Cloud Security, Endpoint Protection, Network Security, Email Security, Threat Intelligence, and Security Operations.
• Additional experience with AWS, Azure, GCP security, container security, incident response, threat hunting, or Zero Trust architecture is advantageous.
Communication & Language Requirements
• Strong presentation and customer communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to speak, read, and type Mandarin is mandatory to support coordination with HQ, technical teams, and regional stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a regional and cross-cultural environment.
