The Senior Sales & Project Engineering Manager will lead business development and oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring commercial success, operational excellence, and adherence to ISO quality standards. This role combines technical, commercial, and leadership responsibilities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales strategy, business development, and key account management.
- Drive revenue growth while ensuring project profitability and margin performance.
- Oversee projects from contract award to completion, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Plan project schedules, allocate resources, and manage risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop sales, project, and engineering teams.
- Act as senior escalation point for customers and complex projects.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, quality, and operational performance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, precision engineering, or engineering services.
- Proven track record in sales leadership and project management.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing project margins and P&L.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, precision machining, or regulated industrial systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
