About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales & Marketing Executive to drive business growth in polymer resins, primarily Polypropylene (PP). The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience within the plastics or chemicals industry, with the ability to combine technical understanding and commercial acumen to expand market presence across assigned territories and industries.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across assigned territoriesand industries (e.g., packaging, automotive, construction, agriculture).
- Promote and sell polymer resins (primarily PP) to converters, manufacturers, distributors, compounders, and OEMs.
- Build, manage, and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations based on customer applications and processing requirements.
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales within agreed targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and customer feedback to support strategic planning.
- Coordinate closely with logistics, technical, and product teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and excellent after-sales service.
- Attend industry exhibitions, trade events, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships.
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, forecasts, and market intelligence for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in plastics, petrochemicals, or related industries.
- A strong understanding of polymers, material properties, processing methods, and the plastics value chain is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage customers on application and product performance discussions.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience selling converters, compounders, distributors, or OEMs.
- Knowledge of polymer pricing trends and supply-demand dynamics.
- Multilingual abilities (Mandarin, English, and Vietnamese) are advantageous.
