Join our client, a reputable A1 main contractor known for delivering diverse building projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use and infrastructure works island wide. They are now hiring Senior / Safety Officers/WSHO to support their growth. Attractive performance bonuses are offered.
What you will do
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Workplace Safety and Health Management System
- Identify potential safety and health risks and conduct routine inspections & audits
- Advise and implement effective risk mitigation plans and safe work procedures
- Advise subcontractors and liaise with regulatory authorities regarding safety matters or any complaints/feedback
- Maintain safety documentation, including safety inspection reports and audit findings.
- Identify training needs and conduct safety training sessions
- Establish and review regularly WSHE plans (i.e. Fall Prevention Plan, Public Safety Plan, Lifting Plan etc.)
- Monitor and improve WSHE performance, including identifying unsafe conditions.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Mentor new safety personnel and oversee Safe Management Officers
- Perform duties as Fire Safety Manager
What you will need
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Workplace Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Must be a registered WSH Officer & ECO
- Candidates with more experience can be considered for the Senior WSHO position
- Possess a Specialist Diploma in WSH
- Possess minimum 5 years of relevant safety personnel experience
