Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head of Risk Management in the implementation of the overall company Risk Management Framework (policies, procedures and methodologies), improve the quality of credit risk and market risk analytics, and ensure the risk management processes in the Company are standardized and systematic in accordance to the company's risk management philosophy;
2. Assist the Head of Risk Management in the assessment of risks and implementation of appropriate limits for new activities. Assess the materiality of gaps in the valuation and risk measurement of existing transactions;
3. Conduct regular review on the appropriateness of established limits, in light of current trading book strategies and monitor established limits and compliance to trading and control policies;
4. Responsible for effective monitoring, early warning and reporting of the trading books under his/her responsibility. To communicate effectively with front and back office personnel, as well as to ensure completeness and accuracy of data in the system. On a daily basis in accordance to the Company policies, to compute, monitor, analyse and report the exposure of the books, ensuring that the exposures are under the approved limits. Effective monitoring and understanding of market so as to mitigate potential risk events that the Company may encounter;
5. Perform monthly closing tasks as required for the books under his/her responsibility, and provide analysis for the profit and loss position for the books. Also to assist in the drafting of various reports as requested by the Risk Management Committee;
6. Perform back testing, scenario testing and stress testing on a periodic basis or when necessary. Fornew businesses or activities relating to the books under his/her responsibility, to perform relevant market analysis and recommend mitigating controls as necessary. Maintain and ensure the integrity of transactional and price data, data mappings, system settings as well as the validity of the VaR model within the risk system. Provide value-added analysis to Management and trading teams on sources of value, key risks, scenarios testing, etc;
7. Gather and compile daily mark-to-market prices and other relevant data for dissemination to relevant personnel and for uploading into the CXL system. Responsible for performing End-of-Day operations in the CXL system;
8. Perform weekly compilation, analysis and reporting of market information;
9. Responsible for the hedging business of the account in charge, including but not limited to the review and monitoring of the hedging strategy, the evaluation of the hedging effectiveness, the accuracy and rationality of the hedging ratio calculation, the review of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports of the hedging business, and the compliance inspection etc;
10. Responsible for the management of trading counterparties credit limit and credit insurance, collection of market information, timely deactivation of high risk trading counterparties and reducing redundant credit limit, and strive for favorable credit insurance coverage limit of the company. Responsible for credit management of LC issuing bank and paper broker list.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Economics/ Finance/ other numerical discipline or equivalent;
2. Min. 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in similar capacity;
3. Possesses strong credit risk assessment and decision-making capabilities, particularly in credit approval processes;
4. Demonstrate the following Supply & Trading Competencies:

5. Excellent people skills and communication skills, strong team player with ability to work collaboratively with external vendor, and internal staff in the Trading, Risk Management, Operations and Finance Departments;
6. Good ethics and professional conduct, and with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit;
7. Meticulous, good organisational, time management skills and stress tolerance with proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
8. Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese speaking associates verbally/ in writing whenever appropriate).
