About the role
This role is responsible for leading the design and execution of store design initiatives across the Skincare and Fragrance categories within the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support store planning and design development in accordance with brand store design guidelines and standards.
- Liaise and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders on all aspects of store construction and fit-out projects.
- Collaborate closely with the Visual Merchandising (VM) team to integrate VM concepts and requirements into store design solutions.
- Interpret design concepts and oversee execution with shopfitters, including reviewing shop drawings and ensuring accurate implementation throughout the construction process.
- Train and update new and existing shopfitters on evolving design standards, construction techniques, and brand design directives.
- Maintain high construction quality standards by conducting site inspections, preparing punch lists, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring timely rectification of issues.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation and store records for future reference and consistency across projects.
- Coordinate project timelines with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely delivery and completion of store openings and renovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail store design, interior design, architectural detailing, or a related field.
- Proficient in developing detailed construction drawings, technical documentation, and scaled working drawings for retail environments.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software, Adobe Photoshop, and 3D visualization/rendering tools.
- Solid understanding of retail design principles, including space planning, lighting design, fixture detailing, furniture design, and material applications.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to maintain brand consistency and design integrity across multiple projects.
- Strong project coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.
