We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the immune cell manufacturing group at the Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI). Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a key player in immune tolerance in the body and their use as a cell therapy treatment for autoimmune disease or organ transplant has been growing globally. We and our clinical collaborators aim to use chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) technology to redirect the function of Tregs towards therapeutic targets. This project will contribute towards developing a CAR-Treg manufacturing and quality control (QC) pipeline for transplant tolerance in Singapore. Our team will be using cell engineering strategies to improve the purity and efficacy of our manufactured Tregs, optimizing for clinical success.
