We invite applications for a Senior Research Fellow position in the laboratory of Associate Professor Koh Cheng Gee. The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the development of novel DNA Damage Response (DDR) therapeutics.
Job Description
Develop strategies and conduct experiments to diversify the lead molecule into second-generation compounds with a better therapeutic window and solubility, suitable for our DDR therapeutics program
Discovery of lead small molecules for DDR therapy from Singapore medicinal plants
Develop the synthetic route of lead small molecule identified from Singapore medicinal plants
Job Requirements
PhD in Chemistry or related field
At least 5 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience in organic chemistry and/or medicinal chemistry
Demonstrated expertise in small-molecule synthesis, optimization, and structureactivity relationship (SAR) studies
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative research environment
