We invite applications for a Senior Research Fellow position in the laboratory of Associate Professor Koh Cheng Gee. The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the development of novel DNA Damage Response (DDR) therapeutics.

Job Description

• Develop strategies and conduct experiments to diversify the lead molecule into second-generation compounds with a better therapeutic window and solubility, suitable for our DDR therapeutics program

• Discovery of lead small molecules for DDR therapy from Singapore medicinal plants

• Develop the synthetic route of lead small molecule identified from Singapore medicinal plants

Job Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry or related field

• At least 5 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience in organic chemistry and/or medicinal chemistry

• Demonstrated expertise in small-molecule synthesis, optimization, and structureactivity relationship (SAR) studies

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative research environment
