Responsibilities:
- Manage research projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and deliverables are met.
- Lead the development of study protocols and statistical analysis plans.
- Conduct and supervise quantitative and qualitative data analyses.
- Ensure study compliance with ethics requirements and applicable local regulations.
- Prepare scientific manuscripts and support dissemination of research findings.
- Develop proposals and supporting documents for new research grants.
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, including systematic reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior research staff.
- Engage healthcare professionals and research collaborators to support study objectives.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Public Health, Health Services Research, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience in clinical, public health, or health services research.
- Proven leadership and project management experience with a strong research track record.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods qualitative methods are an added advantage.
- Proficient in statistical or qualitative software (e.g. STATA, SPSS, NVivo).
- Demonstrated scientific writing skills with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to lead research projects end-to-end and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Able to multitask and perform effectively under tight timelines.
