Senior Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and analyse external views and market trends

- Daily reporting on markets to Traders and Management

- Work to automate tasks where possible

- Assist with ad-hoc responsibilities as needed such as gathering data to support trading strategies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- At least 6 years experience in analytics, preferably within a trading firm

- Industry knowledge in the energy/metals/carbon sectors is preferred

- Strong analytical and decision making skills

- Must have excellent presentation and communication skills and be able to use Excel and PowerPoint effectively to convey analysis

- Team Player

- Positive attitude towards work and have a strong self-discipline

- Fast learner with a natural curiosity and desire to grow in the energy trading industry
