Senior Relationship Manager - Family Office

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager focused on Single Family Offices (SFOs), MultiFamily Offices (MFOs), and UltraHigh Net Worth (UHNW) principals from North Asia region, to drive capital inflows into the firm's investment strategies by building and maintaining strong client relationships with the investors.

This role will be responsible for originating and managing longterm family office relationships, acting as a trusted investment partner. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong understanding of family office investment frameworks, governance structures, and bespoke portfolio requirements, with a proven track record in raising and retaining AUM from sophisticated investors.

Key Responsibilities

Family Office Origination & Relationship Coverage

• Identify, originate, and onboard new Single Family Offices, MultiFamily Offices and UHNW principals
• Develop trusted, multistakeholder relationships with family principals and external advisors
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all investment, reporting, and strategic discussions
• Build longterm partnerships anchored on trust, consistency, and alignment of interests

Capital Raising & AUM Growth

• Drive net new AUM into the firm's funds and managed accounts
• Position the firm's investment strategies as core or satellite allocations within family office portfolios
• Support tailored investment structures, including:

- Fund allocations

- Coinvestment opportunities

- Managed accounts / bespoke mandates (where applicable)

• Execute capitalraising initiatives aligned with the firm's fundraising cycles

Investment Advisory & Portfolio Alignment

• Develop deep understanding of each family office's:

- Investment objectives

- Risk appetite and liquidity preferences

- Time horizon and intergenerational considerations

• Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers to articulate:

- Strategy rationale

- Risk management approach

- Performance drivers and downside protection

• Support investment reviews, performance updates, and portfolio discussions with family office stakeholders

Qualifications

• 815 years of experience in family office coverage, private banking (UHNW), asset management distribution, or institutional sales
• Demonstrated success in raising capital from family offices or UHNW families
• Strong understanding of:

- Family office portfolio construction

- Alternative investments and longterm capital strategies

- Governance and investment committee processes

• Established network within the family office ecosystem in Asia is highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CAIA are advantageous
