We're seeking an experienced Treaty Underwriter to join our client, sitting within their P&C reinsurance team in Singapore. In this role, you'll underwrite and manage a diverse APAC treaty portfolio, assess risk and pricing, and drive profitable growth.
What you'll do:
- Underwrite and manage P&C treaty business across Asia
- Analyse submissions, pricing, and exposure; ensure profitability
- Build strong relationships with clients and brokers
- Identify new business opportunities and support regional growth
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and portfolio performance
- Collaborate with actuarial, claims, and internal functions
What we're looking for:
- 310+ years P&C treaty underwriting experience (Senior for 7+ years)
- Strong technical, analytical, and commercial skills
- Knowledge of pricing tools and catastrophe modelling
- Actuarial background or education is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Degree in Insurance/Business/Risk; professional qualifications a plus
