About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established multinational organisation with operations across Asia and other international markets, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its Group Tax team based in Singapore.

Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, this is a regional role that will lead tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving global tax compliance, leading the implementation of Pillar 2 (GloBE) requirements, and partnering with the business on strategic tax planning and cross-border initiatives

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all Group tax functions, including corporate income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, and international tax planning across multiple jurisdictions
  • Manage tax compliance and reporting for overseas entities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Drive transfer pricing compliance, including preparation and maintenance of documentation, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), and BEPS-related requirements
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing compliance of Pillar 2 (GloBE) across more than 10 jurisdictions, including deferred tax assessments and filing obligations
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the Group's tax position while ensuring compliance with evolving international tax regulations
  • Provide tax advisory support on business operations, market expansion, corporate restructuring, financing arrangements, and other strategic initiatives
  • Lead tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and post-acquisition tax integration for M&A and other cross-border projects
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, legal counsel, and tax authorities across different countries
  • Keep abreast of international tax developments and assess the potential impact of regulatory changes on the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant tax experience gained within a multinational corporation and/or a Big 4 or leading international tax advisory firm
  • Strong experience in international tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax planning
  • Hands-on experience with Pillar 2 (GloBE) implementation and compliance will be highly advantageous
  • Proven experience in tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and post-merger integration
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, BEPS, and CbCR, particularly across China, Hong Kong, and other international jurisdictions
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to work across regional and global teams
