Job Description
We are a Singapore-based recruitment firm supporting clients across APAC, including financial services and corporate sectors. We are seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to focus on Japan-linked mandates, covering both Singapore-based clients and clients headquartered in Japan.
This is a full-cycle (360) recruitment role involving business development, client management, and candidate delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
- Develop and manage relationships with Japanese corporate clients in Singapore and in Japan
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain a pipeline of recruitment mandates
- Advise clients on hiring strategies, market conditions, and talent availability
- Negotiate terms of business and recruitment fees
Recruitment Execution
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from job briefing to offer stage
- Source, screen, and assess candidates for client roles
- Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and candidate feedback to clients
- Maintain professional candidate engagement throughout the hiring process
Market Development
- Build knowledge of Japan-related hiring markets, including cross-border recruitment
- Develop networks of candidates and clients within the financial services sector and any other complementary sectors.
- Contribute to the development of the firm's Japan desk
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a recruitment agency in a 360 recruitment role
- Demonstrated experience in managing recruitment processes and client relationships
Language Requirements
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English is required, as the role involves regular communication with Japanese-speaking clients and candidates, including reviewing role requirements, conducting interviews, and managing recruitment processes
