Job Description
- Perform MRI scans following protocols to produce diagnostic-quality images.
Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging settings. - Screen patients for MRI safety and explain procedures.
Monitor and ensure patient comfort during scans. - Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
Report equipment issues and perform routine checks. - Work with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure imaging meets clinical needs.
Maintain accurate scan records and manage image transfers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Registered with AHPC
- Certification or experience in MRI preferred
- Good communication and patient care skills
- Familiarity with MRI safety protocols and equipment handling
