POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently perform radiological examinations and produce images of diagnostic quality for radiological reports with due regard to patient safety, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology
- Ensure the correct patient and area of interest is being imaged accordingly
- Ensure examination performed are of diagnostic value with correct patient identification before discharging the patient
- Provide care for patients undergoing examinations according to the conditions and nature of their illness and clinical diagnosis
- Select and execute proper radiographic techniques for individual patients accordingly to their clinical needs within established professional and departmental guidelines
- Responsible to ensure readiness, proper functioning and maintenance of the radiological equipment and accessories within designated work area and also the cleanliness and tidiness of the procedure / examination room daily
- Perform in accordance to standards described in SOP and work instructions and comply with the relevant rules and regulations.
- Collate data to be presented in the monthly reports
- Support hospital staffs in providing comprehensive patient service
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by management
QUALIIFCATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to carry out CT Scan / MRI is a must
- Min Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Imaging, Diagnostic Radiography or relevant
- Candidate with experience of Mammography/Ultrasound will be an advantage
- Must be registered with National Environmental Agency (NEA) as a radiation worker
- Must be registered with Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
- More than 2 year of experience is preferred
- Those with more experiences will be considered for senior position
- This role requires working 5.5 days per week.
