THE ROLE
The Senior R&D Director is responsible for:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, process) in developing Semiconductor capital equipment.
- Drive product innovation, technology road mapping, and strategic IP development.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and customers to translate requirements into scalable, manufacturable solutions.
- Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resource allocation with a focus on time-to-market and cost optimization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with at least 5 years in R&D or operational leadership roles
- Proven track record of successfully launching Semiconductor capital or contract equipment manufacturing products
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams
