Our client is a well-known Electronic Automation Company who is represented in Singapore with a fully owned subsidiary for more than 25 years and has a well-established infrastructure locally.
They have set up a R&D Competence Center in Singapore to better cope with the arising global market demand. The focus of the new R&D Competence Center in Singapore will lay on the business areas of sensor technology and power electronics for serving the energy, building and factory sectors.
We are looking for someone who enjoys and has experience in Electronic Automation.
Your scope of tasks & responsibilities
- Lead the Sensor development projects with a team of Hardware, Mechanical, Firmware engineers in Singapore & Germany
- Oversee the development of analog sensors and energy meters, with a focus in hardware electronics design to ensure meeting design specifications and performance targets
- Apply proficiency in analog signal processing to develop and implement sophisticated filtering and amplification techniques for accurate data extraction.
- Design and implement complex function, ensuring high performance, low power consumption, and reliability.
- Take the lead in prototyping sensor designs, conducting rigorous testing to validate performance and refine designs
- Collaboration in international activities relevant for the development of the Business Unit
- Monitor relevant technological developments in the areas of of Sensors and Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)
Your professional profile -qualifications & competences-
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in discrete circuits sensor development (hardware and software) or IC design development, preferably focusing on analog design
- Proven track record of delivering successful Sensor/IC products to market with a key role in architectural design and follow through RTL design, validation and physical design
- Innovative spirit and passion for energy-based topics, technologies and trends
- High problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and proactive working attitude and a good team player
- Strong communication and persuasion skills at different stakeholder levels
- High methodical and social competence as well as the ability to moderate dynamic group processes
- Experienced in working with international companies, preferable German companies
- University degree in the field of electronic engineering, sensor technologies, power electronics or a comparable qualification
- Fluent in English German language skills would be an advantage
