Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Senior R&D Engineer, where you'll leverage your expertise in electrical engineering to innovate and enhance advanced plasma lighting systems. Be at the forefront of technology, contributing to impactful solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize high-voltage and RF power electronics for plasma systems, including ignition and modulation. Develop comprehensive electrical schematics, PCB layouts, block diagrams, and architectural designs for plasma lighting drivers. Collaborate with the Test & Maintenance team to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues. Work alongside process engineering and production teams to boost productivity and efficiency. Assist Quality Assurance in conducting failure analysis. Lead the design and development of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects for a global customer base.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline an advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience focused on electrical engineering, particularly in power electronics or RF systems. Familiarity with plasma lighting, gas discharge systems, RF-driven lamps, or similar technologies is preferred. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes related to plasma arc lighting devices. Proven experience in power electronics and control circuit design. Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations applicable to lighting systems. Willingness to undertake regular travel for project needs.
