Senior Quantity Surveyor

Core responsibilities:

• Manage contract documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Perform takeoff measurements and prepare detailed cost estimates to support tender submissions.
• Oversee and coordinate running projects to ensure timely progress and adherence to specifications.
• Monitor suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure compliance with contract terms and specifications.
• Finalize project and subcontractor accounts to ensure accurate financial closure.
• Advise and supervise the Quantity Surveying (QS) team on project tenders and contractual matters to meet project objectives.
• Negotiate terms and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable outcomes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Assistant QS staff to enhance team performance.
• Review subcontractor quotations for completeness and accuracy to support procurement decisions.
• Maintain organized filing systems for all project-related documents to ensure accessibility and compliance.
• Prepare and manage tender acquisition documentation to support business development.
• Examine Assistant QS takeoff work for completeness and timely delivery to maintain project schedules.
• Assist superiors by performing assigned tasks to support project and team objectives.
• Ensure the return of duly signed subcontractor/supplier agreements and works orders to formalize contracts.

Job requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in QS/Civil/ Building
• 5 years working experience with at least 3 years in tendering
