Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic construction team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Tender), where your expertise will drive precision in cost estimations and tender analysis, contributing to successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on technical drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with tender teams, engineers, and design consultants to ensure pricing accuracy.
Analyze tender documents to clearly define the scope of works.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
Draft comprehensive tender reports and assist in preparing tender submissions, including Bill of Quantities (BQ) pricing and technical documents.
Maintain organized tender documentation and cost databases.
Participate in tender briefings, site visits, and provide post-tender clarifications as needed.
Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
At least 5 years of experience in tendering roles, with a preference for candidates experienced in civil tendering.
Detail-oriented and meticulous in work approach.
Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of working effectively within a team.
Strong interpersonal skills with well-developed communication abilities.
Proactive and resourceful in addressing and solving problems.
