Senior Quantity Surveyor (Sub-con Power Generator)

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Sub-con experience to support our client in the Power Generator sector. Our client is a global Japan MNC, and we are looking for potential candidates to support them initially for expansion plan.

They are located in Town - easily accessible via various modes of transport.

Job Description:

• Handle full scope of QS duties including but not limited to material take-off and variations

• To check and review all specifications and technical requirements from tender documents.

• Identify potential contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies during the tender phase. Inform and assist team for cost estimate of additional works.

• Lead the measurement take-off process and prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BQ).

• Call for quotations, evaluate subcontractor bids, and formulate competitive tender pricing.

• Prepare for quotation & tender including quantity take-off for mechanical works.

• Manage project budget and costing.

• Maintain good rapport with subcontractors.

• Evaluate and certify sub-contractors progress payment

Job Requirement:

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

• 5 years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying, with substantial experience on large construction projects

• Proven expertise in cost management, contract administration and commercial negotiations
