ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform quantity taking-off in drawings manually and preparing Bill of Quantities.
- Review contract documents on tender, and highlights of essential key dates and submission requirements.
- To work closely with the Project Team in preparing tender proposal and submissions.
- Perform vendor search and carry out quote comparison for approval prior award or purchasing.
- Assist Contracts Manager and/or Project Manager in preparing the awarding of subcontractors and/or suppliers.
- To work closely with the Project Team providing cost and/ financial advice as well as contractual support.
- Preparing monthly progress claims, variations, and finalising of accounts with clients and subcontractors during the construction phase and project completion.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
